While drooling over the iPhone(again) the other day, I realized that the iPod interface - when in CoverFlow (landscape orientation) mode - is a giant step toward what many of us seem to be hoping for. You can browse the albums in CoverFlow mode, touch an album, see the songs on the back, and move directly to that song. Pretty direct and simple.
Anyway, I definitely love MacBook!
The advantages are its a macbook so its well made and easy to use ~
-Its so pretty and gorgeous in both white and black colour, which makes using them fun and enjoyable ^^
-On the other hand, both the white and the black get grubby-looking faster than the silver.
-It is very very much less likely to crash (so less chance of losing your work whilst doing it).
-It doesn't get viruses/spyware/malware etc. whatever viruses.
-Looks cooler instead of silver laptops which were normally seen.
-Weighs less which makes travelling around more convenient.
-Smaller is a bigger deal than lighter, the catch is better, and it feels stronger.
-Longer battery life, well of course you don't have to charge it so frequently after hours of usage.
-that OS X is a great operating system, both functionally and aesthetically.
-the integration between software and hardware means that sleep, hibernation ("safe sleep" in Apple-speak)
-plugging/unplugging (including external displays and projectors) works without a hitch -- unlike PC notebooks.
The biggest advantage of a macbook is integration. The software communicates well amongst it (between keynote, iDVD, iTunes, etc.), but also communicates extremely well with the hardware.
PCs tend to be cheaper largely because there is more competition between parts. Your motherboard and graphics processor can be made by two different companies, from two different countries, whereas with apple computers, the hardware is all very standardized, making things more expensive, but more consistent as well.
This consistency means that the hardware can be easily recognized by the software, and there are fewer problems arising from conflicts between different pieces of hardware. The other main advantage is that macbooks are very, very well branded, and have a high resell value. They look cool, and people know that :D:D:D
